Bishop’s Move celebrates the launch of its premium home moving service, Platinum Move, with a ‘sparkling’ new addition to its fleet of removal vans.

This month sees an eye-catching Bishop’s Move truck, with its new vehicle livery, hit the roads of London and the Home Counties to celebrate the launch of our new bespoke home moving service, ‘Platinum Move’.

This distinctive removals van was created with the assistance of specialist coachbuilders, SBR, and features Bishop’s Move’s traditional branding but in a ‘sparkling’ platinum finish. Operating from our removals and storage warehouse near Gatwick, this 18-tonne DAF CF is large enough to fit 2200 cu ft. The cab has been purpose-built to allow for a crew of 4, instead of the usual 2, and includes a state-of-the-art sleeping pod for overnight or European services. The ‘Platinum Move’ removals truck also has important safety features to comply with Direct Vision Standard (DVS) standards, including additional cameras to improve driver awareness and meet London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) standards. While its enhanced air suspension and adjustable height both help to ensure that our clients’ personal possessions, furniture, antiques, and artwork can be easily loaded and smoothly transported to their new home.
