Bishop’s Move’s Exeter Expands Removals Fleet

Bishop’s Move Exeter, part of the Bishop’s Move Group – the UK’s largest family owned removals and storage company – has expanded its fleet with the delivery of a new 7.5 tonne vehicle. To celebrate the arrival of the latest addition to the company’s fleet, Bishop’s Move utilised its relationship with the Exeter Chiefs as current centre and England international, Sam Hill and former Fiji-international Sireli Naqelevuki visited the depot.

The vehicle was delivered on March 18th and continues Bishop’s Move’s on-going investment into its fleet. In 2014, the company acquired 13 custom-built DAF vehicles at a cost of £1.2m and, in addition to the new Exeter vehicle, has also expanded its fleet operations in 2015 in Guildford, York, London, Crawley, Newcastle, Swindon and Oxford.

Operating within a recovering housing market across Exeter and Devon, Bishop’s Move saw this as an ideal time to once again invest in and expand its fleet operations. Bishop’s Move Exeter is a long-time supporter of the Exeter Chiefs. In addition to sponsoring Sam and Sireli, the company has also previously supported Jason Shoemark and former Chiefs prop, Ruaidhri Murphy. “It was fantastic to welcome them both to the branch to celebrate the arrival of the new acquisition and to pose for some photographs,” comments Eddy Hall, Bishop’s Move Exeter General Manager.

He continues: “We are delighted to have completed this investment into our already established fleet of vehicles. The housing market across the South West is as buoyant as ever and this investment ensures we are ready to respond to any significant market improvements post-General Election. I’d also like to thank everyone at the Exeter Chiefs, particularly Sam and Sireli, for coming down to help celebrate the arrival of our new vehicle.”
