We understand how stressful excess office furniture can be. After moving your business or completing a business merger, you might be left with furniture that you no longer need nor have space for or find yourself renting property or self-storage units for unneeded commercial waste. Bishop’s Move takes care of all the hassle and mess, all while acting as ethically and environmentally friendly as we can.
Here at Bishop’s Move, we are passionate about reducing the amount of office furniture that is sent to landfill. We therefore work with each of our commercial clients to ensure that the right environmental office clearance, if required, is built into their move plan from the start of their office removal.
Furniture Donation & Recycling
Where possible, we will return the best value on the resale of the furniture you identify as no longer needed during your office clearance. Alternatively, we can help and provide advice on donating your quality office furniture items to local schools, smaller community groups, and charities, such as Sense, Cancer Research UK, and Dentaid to name but a few. This way, your office furniture will continue to be used by people that need it most.
Bishop’s Move aims to act as environmentally conscious as possible, meaning that we avoid throwing away items wherever possible. When we cannot pass on items during your office clearance, we will dismantle them into component parts (i.e. wood, metal & plastic) for recycling. Through our partnerships, recycling & up-cycling efforts we currently achieve a 98% recycling rate on all items. Our goal is 0% landfill and we aim to achieve this every year.
