Factory relocations typically involve more than just the machinery. There’s usually an office to relocate alongside it, sometimes records to archive, a second site or a move abroad. Bishop’s Move handles all of it under one contract: the production line, the office, secure storage, and international logistics if you’re moving overseas. What’s Included in Your Factory Relocation

  • Site audit and risk assessment. We visit before scheduling anything and prepare a method statement for the move.
  • Shelf and racking dismantling and reinstallation. Skilled technicians handle the strip-out and the rebuild at your new site.
  • Heavy machinery lifting and transport. Specialist equipment and trained handlers move plant and machinery safely, with minimal risk to the asset or the schedule.
  • Secure storage during the transition. If you need somewhere for stock or equipment mid-move, our storage solutions cover both short- and long-term needs.
  • Responsible disposal. We’ll clear and dispose of anything you’re not taking to the new site, with a focus on recycling and reducing waste.

Many clients build up stock ahead of the move to protect inventory levels while the line is down, and we can store any excess securely until you need it. For larger factories, we can move in phases so production doesn’t stop for longer than it has to.
