Bishop's Move Oxford delivers furniture donation

Bishop’s Move Oxford, part of the Bishop’s Move Group - the UK’s largest family owned removals and storage company – has collected and delivered a furniture donation to Springfield School, based in Witney. The donation, made by CEVA Logistics, includes eight book cases, 13 office chairs, and a large desk for the use of both pupils and teachers.

The collection of the items is part of Bishop’s Move Oxford’s three year commitment to Springfield School who currently has one of its school minibuses donned in Bishop’s Move’s recognisable yellow, blue and red colours with the removal company committing to contribute £2,000 each year towards the maintenance and fuel of the vehicle.

There is also a personal connection between the two parties; as staff from Bishop’s Move Oxford, currently have children attending Springfield.

Witney-based CEVA Logistics is a leading non asset-based supply chain management company designing and implementing industry-leading solutions in both freight management and contract logistics. Its donation of office
equipment has been widely appreciated by the Springfield School staff.

Emma Lawley, Springfield School head teacher comments: “We are absolutely thrilled to have received this donation of furniture from CEVA Logistics which was kindly delivered by Bishop’s Move. It means we can channel precious funds into enhancing the curriculum rather than spending out on basics. I’d like to thank Bishop’s Move for its continuous support and of course CEVA for its generosity.”

Rob Jeffrey, Bishop’s Move Oxford Branch Manager comments: “As a company, we are firmly in the business of supporting our local communities. Springfield Special Needs School is a wonderful establishment and we are proud to support them. It was an absolute pleasure to deliver this office equipment to the school which we hope makes a difference to both staff and pupils.”
