New Football Kit Arrives in Time for Kick Off for Oakwood Girls U14s

Bishop’s Move new  football kits arrives just in the nick of time for the Under 14’s Oakwood Girls football for the start of the League Challenge Cup

With over 2.5 million registered football has now become the most recognised participation sport for women and girls in England.  The local branch of Bishop’s Move in Crawley, Manor Royal currently sponsoring the Under 14’s Oakwood Girls team, having previously sponsored the Under 12’s Girls’ football team which at the time narrowly missed out in the first ever Sussex Girls Challenge Cup Final (Under 12s) back in 2018, losing lost 2-1 to league rivals East Grinstead Meads.

Under 14’s Team Coach, Nick Rudge, whose daughter also plays for the team. “I’m sure the girls will do us proud in this league. It’s exciting for the girls as it’s the first match of a new league so the chance for a new start and opportunities up for grabs. It’s also the first time the girls will have experienced playing on the main pitch!”

The Oakwood Under 14’s team kick off the new League Challenge Cup with the first match scheduled for Sunday the 2nd February 2020 against Crawley Wasps. As a home game the girls will be playing at Oakwood Park in Three Bridges, Crawley. The girls will also be debuting their brand new football kits as sponsored by Bishop’s Move.

Crawley Branch Manager, Darron Day, from Bishop’s Move, comments: “It is fantastic to see the girls do so well on the pitch. Everyone at Bishop’s Move has been following their progress throughout the season and have been immensely proud of what the girls have achieved now in the Under 14’s and are proud to have been given the opportunity to sponsor them again in 2019. We wish them all the best for the League Challenge Cup and hope they progress well and are particularly please that the new kits arrived just in time."
