Job Opportunity for Accounts Administrator, Portsmouth

Bishop's Move Solent are seeking to recruit a full-time vacancy at Solent for an Accounts Administrator.

Working as part of a team which is responsible for making sure that the costs and revenues from the various Bishop's Move Group branches are accurately accounted for and managed.

Salary : TBC

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Processing and recording all supplier invoices, obtaining approval from the relevant authorisor, processing recharges where relevant
  • Resolution of invoice queries
  • Preparation of supplier payments by BACS
  • Recording of Petty Cash returns
  • Recording of Employee Expense Claim Forms
  • Processing of bank receipts
  • General ledger entry including prepayments and accruals
  • Preparation of Bank reconciliations
  • Assist with preparation of Month
  • End Profit & Loss reports
  • Assist with Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Receiving and management of emails
  • Processing of weekly wages and preparation of wage payments by BACS
  • Assisting branches/ suppliers telephone queries
  • Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Management

SKILLS PROFILE

  • Experience in hands on processing
  • Good IT knowledge and accounting software skills 
  • Experience of payroll processing 
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Adaptable, willing, and a reliable individual
