Bishop's Move To Take Part in Lord Mayor's Show

This weekend will see Bishop's Move take part in the 2016 Lord Mayor's Show in London as part of the Worshipful Company of Carmen's exhibit.

The procession is unlike any other in the world, last year there were over 7000 participants, 20 bands, 150 horses, hundreds of other carriages, carts, coaches and other vehicles including vintage cars, steam buses, tanks, tractors, ambulances, fire engines, unicycles, steamrollers, giant robots, helicopters, ships, penny farthings, beds and bathtubs.

On the 12th November, the procession will set off from Mansion House at 11am, pause at the Royal Courts whilst the Lord Mayor gives his oath and then proceed along the Victoria Embankment at about 1pm.

The Carmen have been involved in the City of London since it began, and is celebrating it's 500th anniversary next year. Bishop's Move's distinctive vehicle livery will be featured on their exhibit number 17 and along with fellow Carmen members vehicles throughout the ages.
